The arc method of butt welding flange can make the welding process continuous and can effectively ensure the welding quality, but the improper operation method will cause the weld droop and the surface concave.
Comparing the two welding methods, continuous arc welding is more worthy of promotion. In some industrially developed countries, such as Germany, the United States, Japan, etc., this welding method is required in production.
